BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR), Real Property Tax Administration (RPTA), Recorder of Deeds (ROD). The incumbent oversees the daily operations of their respective unit and is responsible for work in connection with ensuring proper assistance of customers of the Office of the Recorder of Deeds; proper examination and recording of all documents (legal instruments); accurate collection of fees and taxes associated with the recording of the documents; and accurate and timely updating of online records for public review. Duties include, but are not limited to: evaluating, advising, and participating in the formulation of departmental policies, programs and operational plans in order to increase efficiency of the unit; planning and assigning tasks to be performed; and attending and participating in meetings requested by upper management. Performs other related duties as assigned.
